There are some things that not even trash will put up with. Like toxic e-cig litter piling up on the sidewalk.
E-cigs, like JUULs, are more than trash when thrown out. They can create waste that's toxic, and some devices can even leak heavy metals and residual nicotine into the environment. AKA: biohazard waste.
Technically speaking, e-cig pods are considered e-waste, which is the same kind of waste created by your parents’ old computer monitor that they *just* got rid of… in 2019. Despite this, vaping companies like JUUL still haven’t established a proper disposal program for their products.
TLDR: Vaping products are problematic enough right now. But do we really need more single-use plastics harming the environment in 2019? No. No we don’t.
